Cookie Policy
Hosk does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It only stores what it needs to work in your browser, so you won’t see a cookie banner. If we ever add anything optional, we will ask first.
1. What Hosk stores in your browser
Hosk uses your browser’s storage (similar to cookies) for these purposes only:
| Name | Purpose | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
hosk-key | Keeps you signed in on this device | Strictly necessary | Until you sign out or clear your browser |
hk_anP, fl_anActive, fl_chartFin | Remember the date range and display options you chose in Analytics and on the Dashboard | Preference | Until you clear your browser |
hosk_lbhide, hosk_buy, hosk.bub.* | Remember tips and screens you closed and forms you started | Preference | Until you clear your browser |
None of these are shared with anyone or used to track you across websites.
2. Other companies
- Plaid: when you connect a bank, Plaid’s secure window may use its own cookies to run and protect the connection. See the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
- Bouncie: when you connect a tracker, you sign in on Bouncie’s own site, which follows Bouncie’s policies.
- Google Fonts and Cloudflare (cdnjs): your browser downloads fonts and code libraries from them, which shares your IP address and browser details with them. Hosk does not let them set tracking cookies.
3. Do I need to accept cookies?
No. Because Hosk only uses storage that is needed for the Service or that remembers your own choices, it doesn’t ask for cookie consent. If we add optional analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will ask for your permission before turning them on and update this page.
4. How to clear it
Choosing Sign out on this device in Settings removes your sign-in from that browser. You can also clear site data for Hosk in your browser’s settings at any time. Hosk will then ask you to sign in again and reset your display options.
